... and many more across the league.

With Sean Peyton and Mike Zimmer as current Head Coaches; Mike Shanahan and Bill Callahan as recent Head Coaches; Brad Childress and many more as NFL assistants combined with reports of dwindling interest in High School basketball across the state and the attendance numbers at the State Basketball tournament in Peoria in a continued downward trend, are we near stopping the Reflex statement that "Illinois is a basketball state!"?

Rob Ninkovich might just be the best Illinois football
player of them all. I believe this is his 3rd Super Bowl appearance
going for his 2 win. He was kind of an unknown
coming out of HS but man did he become an excellent
pro player. Watch him in the Super Bowl he alway makes
big plays in the big game.
Nice to see a New Lenox kid do so we'll.

OL Bulaga (Woodstock Marian/Green Bay) I believe has been in 2 Super Bowls and should have been in another this year.

Remember Kaneland has a alum who has played in 6 Super Bowls.
