Family time instead.

Delete it without watching?

I take it we didn't shoot well - but what alarms me were the comments suggesting not a lot of hustle on defense.

If those takeaways are accurate, any point in taking the time now to watch?

Yup, we just didn't come out to play for some reason, It happens; as Illinois showed this week, these faraway Thanksgiving games can be tough to focus on. Fresno State didn't have far to travel at all, which I think was a distinct advantage for them.

Only worth a watch if you want to see how badly Ted Valentine's skills have regressed as a basketball official, Absolutely hilariously poor officiating...

It probably was not a good draw to get Valentine so soon after the B1G decided not to renew his contract.

Not much good to talk about today. We still need someone besides Law that can create his own shot. We are pretty easy to defend right now and will continue to be if we can’t start creating inside out offensive. Shots aren’t going to fall some games and when they don’t NU looks bad. I was disappointed in that 1) we couldn’t figure out how to get the ball to Pardon and 2) NU’s reluctance to attempt to drive and forego the contested jumpers.

It was a putrid game, but it was one game. We’ll know more with GT game coming up. Most teams will press us and we need to make them pay by attacked it and not immediately settling for a half court offense which we haven’t been good at recently.

Man, Valentine was calling the game? He was calling the Maui Invitational on Wednesday. The NCAA really needs to step in and help these officials out. Much as we like to rip on them, they have brutal travel schedules trying to max out their earning capability, and there are too many games for it to be done effectively at a conference level like football.
