Look at the picture again. Him and Sidun will not be at the same weight in college.
Sidun currently at 126, Bachmann is 138 (Bachmann’s little bro 132)
I was having the same issue and getting extremely annoyed. Another poster advised not using the App and switching to an internet browser. He was right, 0 ads
He is taller than I thought. Match against Sidun musta have been old. So we want him for 149/157?
If remembering correctly, Delucca or his dad had said he would be career 125.
Delucca did for sure, I listened to that interview. I think his dad did also, saying he thought he would be a big 125, cutting a fair amount his senior year. Sounds like they don’t think he will get taller. Pretty sure Spencer hasn’t grown taller since his freshman year.
Vibes with Sonny Amato seem positive.
Youngblut visit was last night. I think there is supposed to be at least one more visit this week but not totally sure
Saw a post of Amato saying he is very interested in Hawks and impressed with the coaches. Any word coming out of the Bassett camp as to when they will announce? Any signal Hawks are a possibility? It just seems very quiet for them, can't even find opinions/news from Flo.
I think Bo has put himself into quite the position.
If image and marketability are as important to him as winning/developing, there really is only the big three- PSU, Iowa and Okie State. If he comes to iowa, he would be "the man." If he goes to psu or okie state,.he would be just another really good wrestler and likely not the face of the program. Also, psu and okie really dont need him at this point, so they certainly arent going to make things all about him. They could take him or leave him at this point imho.
He could certainly go to nebbie or ohio state or somewhere else and be successfully but he would never have the same following or name/brand value.
Is he and his family willing to not be the top dog and go to psu or okie?
Is it all about being the best wrestler and everything else is secondary?
Are egos too fragile or bridges too burned to come to iowa?
Does iowa even want him back?

I actually think PSU will have a need at 149. I believe SVN has a year or two left. Bo still has a year of high school. But yeah, he would just be another wrestler at PSU
Being a package deal, wonder how MM and Keegan would fit in at PSU or Okie St. I would think Iowa would take them back but with stipulations. But think every major player for them will be dictating to them instead of vice versa at this point and using a lot of caution.

Bo's just another cog in the machine at the other two places....the father over played his hand, maybe intentionally ie sabotage as some have suggested on here.
I think Melvin is such a high level talent that any program, no matter how talented and cluttered, makes a slot for him. Even with a Jayden James or a Ladarian Lockett in his weight class area.
You think James will get as big as Melvin? I think him and Lockett will be close in size
I said area, meaning same territory. Hard to say with kids this young James is a year younger than Melvin but one class ahead of him.
I thought Montel Marion was out of eligibility?

I liked watching JS wrestle. Unfortunately, the last season gassing his last year is what first comes to mind with him.
What ever happend with him I know he was on the team in 2010 think he placed at midlands but then he got suspended or something?

Flo just reported Miller down to 6 teams and Hawks are not listed. I know he took us off after Bo decommitted but was still wondering if he might split. Apparently he is going with Bo or at least Okie St, PSU and Nebby were on his list. Also Michigan, Vtech, Ohio St.
I guess it shows he wasn't really interested in Iowa, he was interested in being like Bo.
He dumped a handful of teams, and added Vtech and Ohio St. I know they made it pretty far with Bo, and the parents were really impressed with the town and campus for Vtech. Ryan was pushing hard, even took all of them to church. He has always recruited well, their results just don’t match their recruiting success. Bo had to have put Ohio st and Vtech back on his list without announcing it yet.
I am not sure what he is doing at VTech, but all the big recruits have them as a possibility. I will say this, Tony Robie gave a kidney to one one his wrestlers who needed a transplant, so he is definitely willing to go the extra mile for his wrestlers and that has to be worth something.
