My bad, but still it is a pretty impressive thing to do.
Over the weekend I heard some news on some in state recruits from a reputable source at one of the state schools.
Gavin Landers is likely going to UNI, or at least they feel pretty good about it.
The Schwab bros (no surprise) to UNI. I think everyone knew that but they did want to experience what it was like to be recruited.
Dawson youngblut has visited Nebraska several times (unofficially I believe). He’s a fan of the coaching staff and looks to be a Nebby lean.
I don’t think any of these kids would be an instant difference maker at Iowa but all would provide good depth. I also love Dawson’s top game and think his hand fighting would improve leaps and bounds under the Brands bros, which would make him a tough out against anyone.

In my opinion, the Schwab's and Dhabolt are the ones I'd want. The Schwab's aren't going to Iowa but Maximus could. He's long, funky, and not done growing yet. He wrestles really well in and out of weird positions and can scramble. Needs to get better at his neutral game but has 2 years left and Sebolt can help with that

Pretty sweet deal for Schwab if it works the way I think it works. If part of his compensation is tuition for his kids, then he doesn't need to use one of his scholarships for his boys.

I would bet MU recruiting hisunranked brother had a big effect on this Mills to MU. Kind of like they did with Tim Miklus, to get Willie.
I think he's heading to Okie St, too, but his cheering on his teammate is not an indication of a lean to any school. That's being a good teammate.

When will we gain some good recruiting news… such a dry season and no good nuggets how we are having good relationships with top level recruits. Or maybe how we are leading the recruiting battle in specific high level recruits… hoping good news can come from this thread soon.

Seems like we had more hopeful news last summer, and that class disintegrated. Maybe the opposite could happen this year. We are in football season, so usually we have a weekend on the calendar that works for most of the top guys we are after. Last year we had everyone but the Raneys, but they did make an official to Oky St in the fall, so that should have been a clue, since they didn’t visit us until right before they committed.
Sucks that Tom is out of the country but as long as Bobby is in town we have a chance. Sorry, I had to. I truly like our chances with this class. We just need to get the first commit and a little momentum. Come on Amato and Bachman, let’s GO!

Wonder how the visit went! Would be great if we landed both so we can land their brothers too and have a pipeline into FCA!

The Bachmann’s go to FCA (Faith Christian Academy) out in the PA area. FCA has been considered the best school within the last 2 years. They have a lot of local talent and have a great amount of kids still coming through the program. Plus, they have a lot of other kids from other areas that practice with them throughout the year, especially in the offseason. Getting the Bachmann’s would help us greatly with other recruits.
The Kenny’s go to CBA (Christian’s Brother) out in the NJ area. I think they have gone practiced with the Bachmann’s throughout the year. A lot of top talent practices with the Bachmann’s Dad’s club.
Paul Kenny and Joe Bachmann are top talent that we NEED. Plus, their younger brothers are just as good, if not better (which I believe that are). So let’s hope our coaches are recruiting with their best foot forward!

I checked their instagram, looks like Bachmanns have been busy with official visits to Cornell, tOSU, mizzu, and Iowa state before visiting us. Nothing posted about our visit yet, seems like tOSU is all over them, but forgot they have a prominent team mate committed there. Seemed strange to have these guys visit us with Tom and Spencer gone. Any other top 10-15 guys Visiting soon? Did they even do a home visit with Sidun?

Maybe he knows Bassett is going to commit to okyst, and that was tipping point.
With the depth in The Raneys, Jax Forrest, Sergio Vega, Landon Robideau, and Kody Routledge, Kellen Wolbert would not be a garunatee starter (respectfully).

Our athletic administration will also have to agree to look the other way on rule bending/breaking with this fresh new face to do the things Taylor is with recruiting the best every year. Having a billionaire or several multimillionaires in his corner is a must also to compete with PSU and now Okyst.
