Chief always shows a lot of knowledge about the sport and wrestlers whether it be hs, college or freestyle. Never knew him to drop insider stuff but did seem to have info which would have him watching some practices or know someone who was in the room. Love reading his posts when he does.
Given the way modern recruitment goes, this seems like a stretch!
I agree with the sentiment of the post, though. Posting here demanding news is not going to lead to anything.

He is but he doesn't talk out of school and I don't ask. Has worked out well for us. I'm not as dialed in like some of the guys (like yourself or Gobblin) on here but I hear about a potential "Boom" every once in awhile. Hope it happens.

IMO opinion a kid who has worked his tail off wrestling (prolly since 4 years old) announcing which D1 school they will be attending IS a once in a lifetime experience for them. I don't think that is a stretch. If you READ the post I never said anything about demanding any info - the opposite actually.
I think you are misunderstanding my joke. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. Under modern recruiting, I don't think it's necessarily a once in a lifetime situation. See Bassett, Bo; Mills, Antonio; James, Jayden; etc. etc.
I do believe we will get some more good news in the near future.
I haven't shared information about the program for a long time, for a couple reasons.
1) The person sharing information with me didn't intend for me to turn around and post it on a public forum
2) If things change and the information doesn't pan out, people on here will jump down your throat for "being incorrect".
I guess I've gotten to the point that when I know something within the program or about recruits, I just keep my mouth shut.
I will like posts from others who post to what I know to be good information, but probably not going to comment on it.

Being wrong doesn't stop anyone else from posting. That includes me.

But you wouldn't hesitate to let someone know they posted something that was "wrong" or didn't happen.
It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.
