Yeah, didn't see that backlash coming. If one reviews my posts in the past several years - ever since Gobblin (rightfully so) gave me a hard time about being a bit too negative - I've tried to be pretty positive about everything, good, bad, or indifferent. And unlike many who have bashed on TNT I've been a strong supporter and also donate monthly to the HWC, so I'm just not sure where all the animosity is coming from.
Bachman, Kenny, Borge, Grajeda, Dhabolt - are the guys that I imagine we are watching? Anyone else on that list?
Is that based on your personal preference between the two wrestlers and what the team needs, or more pertinent information?

I never said it was a negative. Worst case is we get 2 quality character kids who want to be hawks and could really surprise us. I assume we are adding both these 2026 prospects now because we have a few openings with Bo and Melvin not coming. I think Duffey can only be a positive for Kenneys, I just don’t want to assume anything until I see the older Kenney commit. I know you’re not going to find loyalty to a program in this day like we had from Spencer,Kennedy. Drake also.
I wouldn’t remove Dhabolt although Iowa State and Okie State are after him pretty damn hard
So if he does remove us from consideration and obviously Melvin did, we won’t have an upper weight in this class. Maybe targeting a few top 2028 upper weights, especially a future 174. Maybe still relying on portal to fill needs at 174. 184, but I hope not. Calkins kid is well put together. Anyone know if he will be a small heavy or 197?
Ludington should man 197 well for four years starting next year. Angelo 184 for the next four years. But I agree, be nice to see some recruits in that weight range.
Like I said, you applaud the class but say it's not enough to call it special, despite not knowing who else is close to committing that would make it special, you applaud McMullen but say it doesn't mean anything with regard to Kenny. Dhabolts dad is a huge Hawk fan. Add that to the fact that he would fit perfectly at 174 in a couple/few years and it is a no brainer hopefully.

He is but he doesn't talk out of school and I don't ask. Has worked out well for us. I'm not as dialed in like some of the guys (like yourself or Gobblin) on here but I hear about a potential "Boom" every once in awhile. Hope it happens.
Calkins has been 190 for 3 years my guess is 197.
What you said makes no sense based on my comments. I applauded no one specifically nor avoided mentioning anyone. I just wasn’t ready to say this was a really special class based on what we have so far. I’ll just assume you’re on your period and leave it at that. You attacked a couple others in the past two days so I wont take it personally.
Would be great gets especially considering they both have little brothers in class behind them that are also good.
