He was only a rs fr last year so we will see how he does from here. Hard to know if Wisky is responsible for his success or not at this point.
Well, he didn’t look good his first match with DA, then showed improvement his second match against Drake and ended up placing fourth? It sounds like he improved during the season last year. So, there’s that….

By all means, if closer loses are your criteria then feel free to count him as improved. I will wait until this year to see if he just had a good tournament. Maybe I am too much of a stickler. Also maybe I am just skeptical because like vhs said, it’s the only possible example which is sad in of itself.

Not following, you are forgetting the part about PLACED 4th! Not sure how you place 4th with only improving your loss margin in a match. Clearly the kid improved, he wasn't top 4 out of HS or during his RS year. That said, Bono sucks

Obviously he placed 4th. I am saying it was his freshman year so there isn’t a lot of evidence whether or not he came in good or made a jump at Wisconsin.

Came in good? Don't forget, he's at Wisconsin whose last big recruit might have been Braxton Amos. Plus, with the record during his true freshman year nobody would have predicted the growth throughout the season (Ayala) and a 4th place finish. Come on, stop arguing for sport.

Did Buchanan improve at Iowa? Did Lee? Or is it too hard to tell? Clearly Zugit improved, the real question is whether Bono had anything to do with it. There I will agree and say probably not.

Look at the record and look at his losses. Feel free to carry a different opinion, I am not the one trying to convince you.

Actually Gobblin said yes to the question "will there be any recruits or commits at today's match". That's quite different from recruits and commits . There could have been one person, either a recruit or a commit. Or maybe multiple.
I think Youngblut was at the dual last night.

There's likely recruits at every Iowa dual. Some of them are 6 years old currently, but that wasn't the point.

See Nick Saban, Jay Wright, Tony Bennett, the new Manager of the San Francisco Giants, etc. What do these men have in common? They got out of the College $$"recruiting"$$ game while the gettin' was good, with their SANITY largely intact.

To Summarize: Don't let College Athletics recruiting drive you insane.

This is a Public Service Announcement NOT brought to you by ESPN, the Big Ten Conference, etc. (they don't care as long as you watch and pay up, which we most assuredly do 🙂).

Have a good day Sir.

For those who are interested Willie said that top recruit(s) will be on his show next week to tell where they are going to college. He mentioned this on Baschamania when talking about the recruits Borge, Bachmann, Kenny, and Burnett.

Don’t know if he was only talking about 1 or multiple recruits; but should be an interesting week for recruiting next week.

I heard Joey Bachmann announcing prior to T-giving and it's down to two teams....the good guys are one of the two.
