Its more about coaching, OU has the talent on that side of the ball. Look at TCU they play good defense, they do not have better athletes than OU. They are just coached better.

It was a great thing we had the O to overwhelm the frogs Twice last year; that may be the pattern for awhile...
We're not going to win another Natty until to we get at least a "very good" defense. That's what it's going to take. 2017 should serve as a great example of this.
So does this mean Mike gets time to develop these newbies before the clock starts to tick? How much can be expected on the field from the class in season 2018, 2019? Mike could have another three years if all is based on improvement w/these players. OUCH!!
Last year the coaches promised us that OU was going to a 4 man D line. It did not happen. The D line is the most important part of the team for successful coaches. In the last sever years the D line at OU has been largely neglected. We will never win another NC until this is corrected.
