Hussey flipped to Florida St
Why the staff put up with his crap is hypocritical when they yanked others offer from even thinking about visiting.

Obviously offered him more money. Looked at the interested schools and FSU wasn’t on the list. This stuff is going to happen in these days of the NIL wild, Wild West.

Is that official? Not seeing it reported anywhere, but assume you have better information than I have . . .

Daniel Harris signed with Georgia. I guess that was expected, but I still had some hope.

To you maybe, I think just getting him to consider PS after he Decommitted has pretty good effort. Georgia stepped up, hopefully PS can in the future.
Penn State will not engage in bidding wars for recruits or portal transfers. They'll make scholarship athletes "comfortable" and position them to secure internships and agreements that may become lucrative.
However, if there are fans who think PSU will land the 5* players that are gathering offers or talent that enters the portal to translate into instant wealth.......ain't happening.

Whatever will happen will happen. I'm sure Franklin will continue to recruit him if reasonable to do so. Joe said, "worry about the players you get, not the ones you don't." There's always the portal.

Obviously you haven’t been following along the past 6 months. Either way you’re entitled to think what you want. Peace ✌🏻

With the advent of the transfer portal and NIL, National Signing Day has lost its Lustre for me. I look down this list and wonder who will still be a Nittany Lion at the end of their college career.
We're all gonna die some day too, but I really don't want to spoil what little joy you seem to have in life.

Conrad Hussey is announcing this evening. I have a feeling he'll be a Seminole.

Just remember, coach. This isn’t Joe’s Dear Old State. This place is now run by rats and scoundrels, not ethical and moral adults.

You're a glass half shattered, and you're chewing on the broken shards kinda guy, huh?

With the advent of the transfer portal and NIL, I look down the list and think about kids finally getting the freedom to move around to find their fit, just like all other students ... and finally getting a small piece of the pie from the fruits of their labors, that was previously only available to grown men exploiting them for their benefit. So, good for them.

A great many people here should stop living in some rose colored past. All NIL did was legalize the shady side that has always existed in college football. Now that it’s legal countless other people apparently want to be involved. The best hope for stability and reason is a leveling off when people and companies realize there isn’t the ROI they expected. That will tamp it down dramatically I hope. Sadly that’s the only hope I have. Unfortunately the shady side will always exist. So unfortunately as individuals we’re going to have to live with it now and then or just walk away. And if you’re going to walk away, just go we don’t need prolonged exit interviews.

I sort of take that's what happened to Texas A&M this past year.

Honestly didn’t even realize today was signing day (or now better called “first school I will portal from after being sure to thanks all the staff, teammates, and fans and giving all glory to god”. I see one guy out for us. Anybody unexpected in?

Their right fit? I thought recruits and their parents/mentors had that covered BEFORE they signed a letter of intent. Silly me. Just as empty schools on Parent/Teacher night shows us, they don’t care.

Hope in one hand, shite in the other. See which one fills up.

As for Hussey, not easy keeping south florida kids. Especially St. Thomas kids. Those guys don't end up at that school because they are strongly considering becoming a priest.

Reminds my of an old Jay Leno joke

"Today is national signing day, when the nation's top high school football players select the school they won't be graduating from."

I agree. This day did not start well with the death of Franco.

I'm seeing a lot of 3-stars and 4-stars, but no 5-stars. Is that how you beat Ohio State and Michigan?
