I know UK was recruiting MJ Webb pretty hard, he committed to South Carolina. Not sure why we never made an effort to recruit him other than what was basically a token offer and only being less than an hour from Athens. Apparently the staff wasn't too high on him for some reason.

Saw that. really liked that kid, but there has been radio silence on him since he last visited.

I thought/think he is a player too, would have thought we would have gone after him after Soloman committed to Michigan, but didn't happen. Staff is still on Soloman hard and took a committment from another DT in the last week or so. Maybe the coaches knew he wasn't interested in us, he has been all about USC and AU for quite a while and didn't think we had much of a shot

Muschamp has definitely hired a staff of recruiters, no doubt about it

their X's & O's and game coaching will be interesting to see this season....

They are! 9 players currently committed who are Rivals 5.7 or better.

Yes, and about half of those are four stars. Twenty commits already, while we have 12 so we could catch them in the number of commits 5.7 or over, if we have a good season. But my way of rating classes, the much more accurate numerical one, shows them with an average of 5.660 to our 5.616, a significant diference for a whole class.

He got McClendon from us who did a good job recruiting for us, but he didn't have alot of success in Georgia dispite being an Altanta native. He recruited Gurley, Marshall and MIchel to UGA, all 3 out of state guys when he was RB coach, Chubb was coming to UGA if we didn't shut down. But as WR coach, he struggled, most feel we upgraded at WR coach in on the field coaching and on the recruiting front. Big thing is Kirby didn't want him on our staff. I guess we will see how that works out.

Well you do know that Pi never ends, but the convention is to end it rounded off to either 3.16 or 3.1596. The conventional wisdom for Rivals using their numerical ratings is to round it off to three decimals so I do.

If I had wanted to be really precise I would have used 5.660000000000000000000000000000000000 and 5.61633333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333, you can expand on those if you like, you can probably figure it out.

Now if you have trouble with numbers then you might want to keep using the simpler but MUCH less accurate star rating, for that for instance a 3 star is a 3.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.

But if you do want to be more accurate when you average a number of recruits then you will have to use some decimals. even in the simpler star system, alas. Good luck.
