Now with Gran & Hinshaw on the staff who are some of the new targets for the 16/17 classes? Was reading they know the Florida area well which is a very good news considering that state produces some of the best recruits. Just curious on who they may try to bring in.

IDK too much about new targets, but I expect a few to start popping up soon.

Tadarryl Marshall is a fairly new name in the 2016 class. He's a 5'11 175 QB/Ath from Alabama. He is a recent decommit from UT.

Stephen Johnson, the JUCO DT QB that is mentioned in a few threads. He's a new name.

Naquez Pringle & Trysten Hill are 2 possibilities on the DL. They are fairly new names.

Those are the biggest new names (or fairly new names) that I can think of off the top of my head. I'd look for a few other new names to start popping up.

A few older names (from FL) that UK seems to be recruiting pretty hard right now...

Trace Christian is 6'1 210 RB from FL in the 2017 class. UK was reportedly very high on him & he was being recruited by Cincy too.

Richard Gouraige is a 6'5 265 SDE from FL in the 2018 class.

I'd assume that the staff is still recruiting Eskridge and Spain pretty hard in the 2018 class from Tampa, FL.

I forgot... KJ Sails is another name that is being tossed around, but I just don't see how UK can sign another DB unless one of the current ones decommits. Cincy was recruiting him.

I'd think it is too late in the game for us to get in on significant '16 kids who we were not already one of their 2 or 3 top options

the change that Gran/Hinshaw can bring is the '17 class, opening new targets & areas for us to get into

Rowland mentioned a "triangle" in Florida where UK will get in and potentially wreak havoc.

I fully expect impressive results in Florida stemming from a renewed attack from Scott, Hinshaw, Stoops, and Gran.

Add that to Marrow, Hinshaw, Gran, and Stoops in Ohio, Brumbaugh and Ansley in the Deep South, and Buh hitting home and DC/ East Coast with Schlarman and Ansley and we are sitting pretty recruiting-wise.

If the fans shut up and let the process happen after this season was destroyed from within and allow us to get back on track, the future looks bright.

I'm excited all over again.

Thanks for the info TJS4UK. Im hoping we can improve our D line with a few more recruits. The reason he haven't been able to get over the hump yet is because were not SEC caliber in the trenches. Need to add a few big bodies ASAP!
