VT is on a recruiting tear they grabbed 2027 Konopka. Kid is a beast. I will say VT coaches work really hard to recruit tri-state area and I would be willing to bet made more visits in last few years to the NJ wrestling powerhouses than Goodale.

That would be somewhat unfortunate if true. But Goody and Co. have been making very good progress into the Lehigh Valley and their own powerhouses. You cant recruit everywhere, and if the Jersey kids dont want to stay in state, the Lehigh Valley is great alternative to focus on due to it's proximity and quality of wrestlers.

Farnsworth lost to Esposito from st Joes in the semis of escape the rock but then beat Collucio in 2 OT for 3rd. Esposito lost in the finals to Lotier 8-3, Lotier knocked off Collucio in the semis.

Zalota lost to the Blair heavyweight Mielnik in the semis 2-1. Mielnik then lost a crazy final to Alvarez 13-12 . Zalota came back and took 3rd

Bc he did not even place at Doc B and lost to 2 way lower ranked wrestlers. Thats why ge dropped out. Huerta took 3rd. Got upset in Semi

Going to be tough for Delbarton to win No Terranova yet and Gabe Logan has a torn MCL that he aggravated against Faith Christian so who knows if he even wrestles. A lot of big time match ups #7 Batista vs #8 Sontz, #5 vs #8 at 190. Jayden James vs the younger Norman brother

Degeorge lost 12-10 to #8 , gave up 2 takedowns in the 3rd but looked solid , needs a lot of mat work before college though

IMO Degeorge is not impressive at all. Cannot get out of bottom and gassed out mid to late 2nd period. Will get eaten alive in college the way he looks.

interesting take , he’s only a junior , is ranked number 1 in NJ over an Iowa commit and the favorite to win the title and just went toe to toe with a top 8 nationally ranked guy . I think he has shown solid potential

Other kid is a sophomore, seemed stronger, rode him a ton. I dont care that other kid is ranked 8. Degeorge is supposed to be an elite prospect and needs to win matches like this.

Another thing to consider is delbarton kids aren’t always wrestling at their ideal weight, they move a lot of guys around to fill out the lineup best, De George could be a 138 for all we know. I thought he looked good and i dont think anyone considers him an elite prospect

I don't know if it was the case tonight, but when Delbarton wrestled Faith last week, Delbarton had a live feed on their website (even though it was on Flo I believe).

No you won't. It's easy to tell them apart. Pat wouldn't have gotten a 22-5 beat down laid upon him.
