Hobbton’s coach referred to other schools in the area recruiting in a recent article in the Sampson Independent. Wonder who that was directed at?

Doesn’t take a genius to figure out who it is, lol. A Cumberland County coach told me this staff is earning a bad rep in that county as well. No clue if there’s any validity to it. Don’t really care to be honest.

A lot of coaches and people get butt hurt. Make your program respectable and competitive and kids will play there and not leave for other schools.
I didn't read it like you did. He only mentioned recruiting the last paragraph. If the shoe fits put it on and wear it!
That coach really kind of contradicts himself. He says this is day is about the kid and then he turns around and makes the statement at the end that takes all the attention away from the kid and focuses it on his comments
Kids transfer all the time. He should build a bridge and get over it.
Yall Clinton fans acting like this crazy dude is the only guy complaining about it. There are several coaches in Sampson AND Cumberland counties that have voiced concern over it . Just not in the paper like a lunatic . Haven’t a lot the recent super stars at Clinton come through some other district? Y’all got transfers posting commitment photos on Twitter like they are college athletes lmao. It ain’t illegal!

Who really cares honestly. It happens everywhere. If it doesn't amount to nothing, then it just makes the situation even more laughable to anyone who has put any emphasis on it being a thing.
So 2 of the top kids from Cumberland County just so happen to “MOVE” since January?
I feel your pain. We get ragged on it at Maiden. But we can't help we just have a nice community that people like to move to and live at. And other people want to act like there's a law against moving to a certain community.
Honestly the best solution to this would be to allow open enrollment. This would create an environment where all schools had to up their game to be able to compete for students and tax dollars

CCS has rules every kid got to follow to be enrolled. Parents decide those things.

Kids recruit themselves. Two came to reidsville one year. One was due to the coaching staff at his old school. The other was due to administration at his old school. Both went through the proper channels. The sky was falling.
