How about you try it. Why don't you get your coaching staff to display all your great players and try to get them recruited and really make it all about them. Your mind set is exactly why kids don't want to play there I envy those guys, we have nothing in our district.

I couldn’t resist paying a membership fee since a Clinton coach is up here disguised as “All American” defending their social media. Let’s be honest here, CJ and staff aren’t getting it done in the big games. Only had to coach in 3 games last year and lost 2 of those. Should have lost the 3rd, but pulled it out w a miracle. Had 2 D1s and still couldn’t get it done. All I know is when Clinton had D1s (homegrown) in the past they won State Championships. So if you struggling in the coaching dept you better be able to recruit I guess. Word on the street is they got 10+ lined up to come over from F-ville. Who wants to move to Clinton to live? New age coaching they say! DH34 is going to defend it because he is a fan. Rightfully so. But what’s the new saying these days… F around and find out! Most coaches don’t like having their players poached!

First mistake you made was to pay for a membership.
Second mistake was assuming I coach football. Im a 52 yr old hog farmer that watches Union football and basketball and can count the wins on my fingers.
Talk about pouching, we know all about that, Harrells Does to us bout every year.
I could care less where parents decide to take their children to school.
Sounds like you in the know more than the rest of us. Where you coach? Mintz Christian Academy?

Always got screw getting in the West bracket of the 1A playoffs always ended up having to take that long trip to Cherokee 3rd round. Shame what’s happened out that way just different demographics football and basketball both suffered horribly.

Lol. What 52 yr old hog farmer Union fan going to join this site to defend Clinton football and their social media and their “creating a winning culture!” That culture was created 50+ years ago. I’m just a run of the mill postal worker enjoying these Union posts.

Nathan Gay was one of the best with his basketball teams back in the day. And we did have a girls state championship years ago. Got a really good girl playing basketball know, suprised she still here. Yall remember years ago when union HC Burley walked up to the official and pulled his penalty flag out his wasteband, that was hilarious.
Wonder if the coaching staff at CHS know about that..... What route you run for the post office?
Wish i had of started posting yrs ago. This is fun.

Y'all still talking or defending recruiting. It happens and is happening everywhere, time to move on because nothing is going to be done about it. There's three sides to the story , your's, his and the truth. One thing that you the fans and the coach want, is to win. You the fan like it, and he needs to, because his job may depend on it! Good luck next season and may the best recruiter win.

The key in my opinion if recruiting is occurring anywhere can those individuals sleep soundly at night and look themselves in the mirror and feel good. There is a price.

There is a part of this site that you do have to subscribe (Locker Room) where the team previews are located. Hopefully, he has seen the 30+ schools I’ve posted so far.

These cats from Clinton know the homegrown talent is dry. Hence reason brought in coach from outta town and is bringing them kids with him. It's okay tbh, Clinton like swo, is a shell of themselves. Is NIL going down in Clinton? **** no sure how they can afford it, Just like swo, we couldn't buy any recuit even if we wanted lol....

My question to any coaches who may be recruiting is, what do you say to the kid who would have played that position if you hadn’t recruited? You know, the one who has busted his hump for years to earn the position the right way. And what life lessons are you reaching the kids if you teach them that the end justifies the means? A coach’s most important responsibility is to teach. Period.

They don't care, win at all cost. Especially at Clinton ain't won in years, do anything to get back to the top....

The local players are even talking about a couple of studs coming in from Cumberland County next season. I'm pretty sure one of them is from Gray's Creek. This is the same thing Clinton accused Shelby of doing the last 10-15 years.

I have no idea of who, if anyone, is doing what’s described here. What I do know is that Central Davidson forfeited a bunch of games and a conference football championship a few years ago for doing exactly what this post details.

Clinton head coach Twitter page from Jan 30 is pretty interesting. Almost has a "commitment" type vibe to it. Not to mention all the references to "Clinton U". Guess the kid from Southview found his way there too.

Maybe they should invest more in that part of the program if it exists. I think their lack of playoff success the last two years (2nd round exit, 3rd round exit) disproves the notion of "Aint about Xs and Os, its Jimmy and Joes." Maybe some of these new players can defend the wing t?

I am curious why the radio guy was called out by the staff or whomever it was close to the program. Seems to me the program is a lot of noise and fluff. Other 2A programs doing a whole lot more with less recently.

I think the Fayetteville coaches should storm the Clinton McDonald’s. Word on the street said reidsville housed a transfer in the McDonald’s basement.
