Hmmm....personal fouls were 21 apiece and Knicks shot 8 more free throws.

Alvarado tackles Wemby in a non-basketball move and gets called for just a common foul. Things even out.

Can't just look at the final stats without context. Spurs intentionally fouled Mitch to inflate their total as well as add Knicks foul shots. Spurs attempted 43 three point shots to the Knicks 32.....while likely means the Knicks attempted more at the rim and would be prone to being fouled more on shooting attempts. Spurs also pretty much physically pressed Brunson all game and were allowed to constanly hand check him which is a foul but has not been called pretty much all series Refs also missed an obvious goal tending as well as offensive interference against the Spurs. Wemby is never called for an illegal pick or screen but he is constantly allowed to do it. Knicks did not play well until the comback....but the refs seem to have been swaying towards favoring the Spurs. Extending the series benefits the NBA. Promoting Wemby as a huge mega superstar also benefits the NBA.
