But do people care? No.

Very odd an adult would post on this Iowa message board due to curiosity about Indiana Football coordinators. That’s some next level sh*t.
No need to be a d-bag….just ignore if it doesn’t interest you.

I’m sure both their O & D coordinators are getting looks. Cig cobbled together a great low-star team, but those guys had them outplaying loaded 5-star squads on both sides of the ball. Crazy impressive.

There are 6-7 posts relating to Indiana on the first page alone, that were started by others.

Indiana will do everything in their power to retain Cignetti. But, you rarely see anyone go so far as to pay Coordinators, Head Coaching money in order to keep them.

Unless Indiana’s current trajectory takes a nose dive in the next year or two. Those two will absolutely be getting Head Coaching offers that Indiana will not be able to justify matching for a Coordinator position.

But, you’re probably right. Fans of a team whose Head Coach could potentially retire in the next 2-3 years likely have no interest in them.

Probably will never hear their names mentioned on this board again, my bad.

Their D coordinator is now the highest paid D coordinator in CFB.

But they did just lose their S&C coordinator and 2 of his assistants to Tenn. Tenn made him the highest paid S&C coordinator in CFB.

Yeah, after Jonesy’s comment, I looked it up.

Their DC makes about $1M more than Phil.

The OC only makes about $400k more than TL does however. Maybe he’s been with Cignetti for less time than the DC?

I'm guessing that $60 million that came in isn't just going to players.

I thought they had some uber-rich doner (Mark Cuban?) that should ameliorate the "poaching" issue to some extent. but if a coordinator wans to be head coach, money is not really going to solve that problem & retain them. just my thoughts.

Just out of curiosity, I looked it up. Both Coordinators have been with him for about a decade.

I attached a snippet from a SI article. Sounds like blue bloods had been acquiring about Haines, which forced a re-up of his contract to keep them at bay.

Considering the success they have been around for a decade, and even though they do not have Head Coaching experience, I still think someone is going to take a flier at one/both for a HC position in the near future.

So where this relates and the question I pose to Hawk fans:

If either of these guys was still available when KF hangs it up. Would any Hawk fans be interested? Or do you prefer an Internal hire or someone with HC experience instead?IMG_3712.jpeg

You being a level 10 D**K is even higher level sh*t.
It’s possible he might be salty about this.

‘Twas a joke, nothing personal. You can’t lob up a softball of a comment like that, and expect that no one is going to take a swing at it. I just happened to be the first one on the scene.IMG_3713.jpeg
