Regarding injuries following SC State, Beamer said "don't even ask...it's not good"

Sounds like we came out of the game pretty banged up. Any word on availabilities for Vandy? Didn't realize Swain had left banged up. We'll need all hands on deck.

I HATE these class of games; all risk, no reward.

Agree completely. But apparently it's racist to not want to play SC State, at least according to @adcoop.

Wait, I forget if calling him @adcoop or referring to him as "some poster" triggers him more. Oh well.

One thing about it (I think): with leagues going to nine games, plus the requirement of an OOC Power-Four game, and certainly the ACC will follow suit, there will be fewer opportunities for these games to happen.
I certainly hope that is the case. Watching highly paid players play against cupcake opponents is not interesting at all. These players are paid professionals now, they need to earn their money and show that they are worth what they are being paid.

We didn't get our monies worth this past weekend. I shouldn't say we because I don't "give" but the ones who do were ripped off......again.

oof...I hadn't considered that aspect. I'm just a regular fan. I can't imagine if I had an actual financial interest in the product that was on the field.

Yeah, I view the people who donate to the NIL collective like employers at a company paying employees to do a job. They have every right to demand those employees do their jobs to a certain standard. If the employees don't measure up, they should be fired.

Yep. More than ever college football is simply a product and the fans are consumers.

The fact that they are now fully professionals does leave the door to criticism open significantly wider.

I had forgotten that. I dont like it, but what are you going to do?
And that deal wasn't with a school. It was from a beverage company. I'm sure Ohio State made him rich and then Texas. Now he's in the NFL. If that doesn't work out he's still done pretty good.

....and you are. South Carolina has been playing FCS schools for decades, but with SC State it is a step too far. Of course, you will get people to take up for you here, but most of your posts have the same undertone to them. Finally, I think the team got a lot out of this game in that the effort we are getting besides the punt return and fielding units is not good enough.

Of course, it wasn't just with SC State. I linked posts to where I said it in years passed about FCS schools. But you conveniently ran away and didn't acknowledge those. I see you still won't admit the truth.

Pathetic.

But then again, race baiting always is.
