FBI deputy director Dan Bongino took a day off from work Friday after clashing at the White House with Attorney General Pam Bondi over their handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, four sources familiar with the conflict told Axios.

Why it matters: The dispute erupted Wednesday amid the fallout of the administration walking back its claims about Epstein by determining the convicted sex offender didn’t have a celebrity “client list,” and that he wasn’t murdered in his New York City prison cell in 2019.

Let me run this past you @bornaneer. This is just what I'm hearing in some of my social circles, most of whom are 100% MAGA. They think the reason blondie Pam Bondi suddenly dropped the case on Epstein is because perhaps BB Netanyahu (or at least significant leadership in the Israeli government) may be on that Lolita "list"?

Can you imagine if that's true? America is funding a bunch of pedophiles in their war against the Islamic Jihadists? Can you imagine the howls of "outrage" here in America not only against the Jew haters, but against Trump's entire Mid East agenda in support of Israel? I mean we just dropped the equivalent of another Hiroshima on Iran, but we're protecting Jews who are pedophiles? It may collapse all support for Israel, and then where does that leave them against the Jihadists without our backing?

I'm not saying I buy this...but there HAS to be some important reason why all of sudden this whole thing is being swept under the rug? I'd hate to think Trump's name was on that "list", but he is human and he's not perfect, and he did like the young ladies back in the day 'ya know?

Never really thought Epstein had a list but sorta figured the courts made a list from evidence gathered to prosecute him and his girlfriend for trafficking. I don't know if there is literally a list, there is obviously a lot of information on the whole affair that is not being revealed. They have to know at least some of the people that had sex with kids.

We don't know the specific names but we can safely make some general conclusions about the people. What percentage of them do you think had an income below the median? Or below 100 K per year? Or below a million dollars a year? What percentage of them were themselves power people in powerful positions? What percentage had friends in powerful positions?

This is so blatant. The people at the top can do anything they want without repercussion up to and including having sex with children. If any regular person engaged in that behavior they'd be thrown into jail and their name and face would be all over the news.
