I hear you, but aside from the awesome back story there’s also nothing there to deny him on. This isn’t like the Brantley situation.
He only played in 3 games in 2021 which was the year of his season ending injury that extended through the 2022 season. If anything, he could have a case not to lose eligibility for either of those years since it was the same injury that kept him out. He’s not going to lose both years. That would be beyond shocking.
Remember - 2020 didn’t count. 2018 was a legal frosh redshirt year. He played in 4 games. So the only definitive years of burned eligibity are 2019 and 2023.
