Looking like Region C is open for the taking. Should learn a lot about Sherando very early following their scrimmages against Loudoun Valley and Tuscarora. Tuscarora is undergoing a facelift on both sides of the ball as a new regime takes over. They graduated a lot but it seems Sherando has as well. Good to see the Warriors getting back into a good place and Tusky should still be tough (DL Allen) but I think graduation for both teams should create opportunities for Loudoun County, Loudoun Valley, Woodgrove and Handley. County returns a bunch of talent (RB Dyson) but has questions at QB. Valley is poised to make some noise (WR Gaffney) but has questions up front and Handley returns the regions most dynamic player (QB Darlington). Dark horse could be Woodgrove but they also lost a lot including their best player on both sides of the ball (WR Salmin to Bullis). Don’t expect anyone from Region C to advance past Black Friday but with Champe (moved to D5) out of the mix things seem wide open. Let’s get it crackin’!
