Reid is just bad. Well, not bad, but not a power conference player. Maybe we’ll eat our words next year, but he’s way too small and shrimpy in the modern Big Ten. He’s quick, but he’s not like THAT quick to make up for his size. And he doesn’t have that Juice Thompson verve where he somehow knows what to do amongst the trees to play sneaky behind his size. He’s just a mid major hoopster who is 4 inches and 20 lbs too little. I just don’t see a way around that brutal reality. I don’t like personally dislike his game and he does a lot well, but I just don’t see how everything doesn’t ultimately come back to his size.
