Andrews (2-3) scored a total of 30 points in its first four games (including 13-9 win over Greensboro Smith), then put up a 62-7 win over Jordan Matthews.
They were not blown out by Southwest (28-3) or HP Central (29-12) so picking Reidsville by "as much as they want" is not based on facts. Reidsville isn't the steamrolling powerhouse of the past two years - YET.

Haven't seen them yet but if like last year, and according to scores so far this season, defensively HPA will get after it. Offensively, well until JM game, is where they struggle some.

Andrews has athletes but little depth. They are headed towards 1A numbers. Reidsville will be too disciplined and too deep for Andrews. This isn’t your Andrews teams of old. Reidsville 38 Andrews 14.

I'll never forget the HPA vs Reidsville playoff snow game on a Sunday back in 02. The mud would basically suck the cleat off of your foot. I tell my friends at work, I've played on a Sunday all the time lol. I also show off my state championship ring to them so they can be jealous.
State championship was decided on that day. Simpson was a beast that day collecting big throw after big throw on third and long a few times.

As far as the middle school team at Reidsville....no doubt they are a truly terrific team ,but let's face it...they play nobody...I know rules will not let them travel around but years ago Reidsville would play Hargrave Military....Jr. high teams in High Point and Danville......now they play county schools twice plus Dillard (Yanceyville).....None of this is the teams fault....just wish they could play a little tougher competition.........
They are playing basically the same schedule as the Ray Ray Butchee team which many consider the best of the middle school teams.
Its not the schedule or the record but the overall talent on the teams that are the standard for opining on how good the seventh and eighth graders are and how they might project to the varsity level.
They won at Dillard 44-0 yesterday.
Maybe you could go to a couple of games and see for yourself?
Mule, I agree with ram bbq. I believe that the raiders are a great team. I’m sure the kids would love a bigger challenge though. I wouldn’t be surprised if no one scores on them.

The team with the Seniors that won the 2016 State Championship was an unreal middle school team. If I remember correctly, they outscored their oponentop 350 to 30ish
50-0. I’m not always right... but I call em like I see em. HPA didn’t realize just how terrible Jordan Matthews is. A team who is down by 70 tonight after one half of play.
