True indeed but stay humble, bro. I didn’t make our game vs Hendersonville in the spring, so I can’t really speak on that game. But, you often talk as if y’all blew us out. A couple of phantom holding calls negating a touchdown and other big plays, and that game could have had a different result. Hendersonville definitely has my attention, though. But, I like this Shelby team a lot.

Reidsville defense pitched a shutout last night (only TD was a kickoff return) with little time to prepare ... so maybe defense is coming together.

I see! It’s still stunning to see how far Carver and Andrews have fallen. Lexington used to be a solid program, too. I saw McMichael’s wins included those three schools.

Yeah, it’s tough for inner city school now a days. Carver might do well at 1a. Don’t understand andrews though seems like they would be better.

West has about 4 legit teams, East has a couple. If Reidsville went to the east this year, it would be 3 from east and 3 from the west. Imo

Yeah but out East, those teams are going to run straight at you, different offense but same scheme, quarterback draws, some variation of the wishbone, no threat of a pass. You have more to prepare for versus the teams in the West, my opinion as well.

Aside from 2017, there’s a reason why the East hasn’t come close to winning the state championship in years, in 2A/2AA, their dated offenses, in my opinion.

True but MH won the west last year with basically a running team.

One of those rare occurrences. I know y’all had one of your all time great teams last year, but 9/10, running straight ahead isn’t going to work against any Reidsville team, period.

On a side note, Salisbury is looking real mean out there. They’re looking legit. They have very few posters on here to prop them up, same with Monroe. They have blown out their opps, since getting blown out. Whoever comes out West will have earned it.

it’s a lot of teams I like out west. Burns, Shelby, reidsville, Monroe, Salisbury, hendo. Then you have Jm Robinson, chase. I might be missing some teams

WRH can bring 400 rushing yds a game. Their are exceptions to those outdated offenses. We have to throw in about 7 passes tho

That’s factual. I’ve read about your stud backs over the years. But, what happens when you get behind 14 points to a Reidsville? The game is over. Fullback dive ain’t going to cut it. You may come back against those 1A teams you used to play or other eastetn teams, but not against other elite 2A teams. That offense just makes the clock your opponent’s ally, once you get behind.

That's also factual. The NMB game we were way behind and fought back. Doesn't happen often but our ability to throw a little has always helped. I've never denied that. My opinion is if you want to slow the Bulldogs down you have to keep our offense off the field. Battle Holley has been able to do that lately.
