Remaining OU opponents have to be a bit more confident

Did you know OU was something like 194-0 when leading by 21 at half? This defense almost gave up over a 100 year old record. Wow is that sad ,my goodness they better make defensive recruiting a priority. I keep beating it up but dang.

11am beer chugging leaves me in bad shape rest of weekend. Luckily 2 night games snapped the skid. But just when we thought we turned the corner...this defensive deficiency rares up and kicks us in the forehead. Rough times.

I have 2 bottles of wine sitting in the fridge and this weekend I plan to drink a glass for every TD our D gives up. Does anyone think 2 bottles is enough or should I buy 2 more?

This might cover it.

It wouldn't have been totally on the defense. With a Heisman candidate at quarterback, and perhaps the Biletnikoff favorite at receiver, the offense scored seven points after halftime.

You are safe. Baylor is not an offensive juggernaut. A good game plan for us should be clock management and NOT quick scores. We are evolving and not in a good way. A more conservative game plan should work for us to come out with a big W. Oh and did I mention...cover the TE with a smothering blanket !!

I am not sure the D knows where the TE is lately. Seems to be wide open on every play.

I understand that however as a defense sometimes you have to bow up and make a stop. Neither side of the ball helped the other. This is a weird year for this team. I cannot figure them out.

OU's mysterious offensive disappearance in the second half proved problematic for sure....but shouldn't 42 points be enough to win a game ? The defense was pathetic. The Iowa State QB had all the time in the world to throw, which makes any secondary vulnerable. I blame the entire defense for this two-game meltdown.
