You were right that we lack athletes on the level of what you need. You were wrong about the team not being very good, unless you predicted us to lose 40% of our starters and another rotation player. We were good. So unless you provide a link predicting all that, no you sound ridiculous. Furthermore, why would you want a pat on the back for predicting our downfall. Wth?

When we were healthy we were still a piss poor defensive team. We outscored a couple of good teams. I doubt we could beat Duke on any floor one game out of 10 with how we are currently playing ZERO defense. We could have five 5 star kids on the floor and still not beat good teams on a regular basic with a defense like we have. If Pope's theory is to out score our opponents, he will not last. I personally believe he will get kids in his recruiting that can and WILL play defense. Bruce Peal willgive a kid bench splinters if he does not play sound defense. Same thing with Rick Barnes.

But we still won some of those big games even with the crappy defense.

Our rotations/communication were better and Butler could usually stay in front of his man.
I just reposted one of my threads from May @Basscat1987 in which we both called out conference play being a challenge for this team.
We could outscore teams healthy. Now we cannot outscore nor defend. In short, if we were healthy we would not have many losses.
