Per CBS Sports: "Florida is the first team in the modern era to win a national title without a single top-100 recruit. The Gators have at least three players on the roster (Clayton, Condon and Haugh) who will play in the NBA this year or next, but none was considered a blue-chip recruit." Let CMP do his job with the type of players that excel in his environment like FL.

It's in Pope's best interest to become big man U. Establish some identity.

JVC demonstrated, masterfully, I might add, it can be done differently, with overwhelming talent...

Shows Golden an staff have an eye for underrated talent, hopefully Lowe and Kam Williams fit a similar mold.

I think everyone has cooled on it. Not much rubbish going on now. We landed an extremely important piece. Kinda of sailed the "worry" ship out of town.
Folks have cooled down, which is really good to see. However, I think it’s useful to remind folks that all of the angst was unwarranted.

Many people were making assumptions about what was happening behind the scenes and treating those assumptions as facts. The reality is that those people didn’t know what they were talking about, getting themselves all wound up over nothing and making the board somewhat of a miserable place.

I realize it’s unlikely to happen, but it would be nice if folks would do a little self reflecting on that and learn to do better in the future. The anxiety, questioning of Pope, attacking the administration, etc. just wasn’t necessary at that point.

It’s great to see that everyone appears to be back on board and excited about the prospects of next season. I just wish folks could learn to be a bit more steadfast when things are not immediately meeting their own personal expectations. Until he’s proven that he’s not up to the job, I think Pope deserves that kind of support (and for the record, I’m optimistic about Pope).

I firmly believe we have the best fan base in all of college basketball, but this is an area where I think we could be better. That’s the end of my rant. Now I just need next season to get here quickly.
