I see. I do not know how scholarships work, but just ask as I ran into a couple of 6'5 330 twins not playing football this summer. No idea if there would be any interest, but it seems if they had a open scholarships they could try to fix the depth issue by recruiting someone who was not at UK? If I was the staff I'd actively try to find someone to add to the roster!

Sounds like college football needs a free agency! Lol. I think some places hold tryouts to examine talent like what you're describing. I'm not sure what UK does, though.
Haha, I don't know too much about the kids, but they had been out of high school and football for a year. Both got hurt senior year, and lost the opportunity to get recruited. I have no idea their talent level, but you can't teach 330! Anyway it would be nice if UK could even take a kid from a smaller college who was a stand out in this case, as the depth seems like it is now an issue on the d line. Hopefully there are others who can fill in.
