Absolutely. It’s a classic film and plot. I think everyone in the 80s either had to ski or water ski to save a slope or a summer camp.I think that was the plot of Meatballs 4 with Corey Feldman too.

Imo is by far the movie that best fits the bill. Watched that so many times on hbo during my youth. So corny, over the top, and entertaining.

The book is 10 times better.
I wish they would remake this movie without totally revolving the plot around the hazing of the black cadet.
Misses by a year but "Miller's Crossing" is right up there with it.

The thing about the 80s is that filmmakers had the freedom to make a lot of weird ****, and studios would toss them a few million to do it. Not sure that’s a thing anymore, unfortunately.
