Hes a great football player. Hell, cincy knew it. They saw it. The coaches kept saying it, and saying how they needed to get him the ball. But they didnt...and I think we all know why. Thankfully hes on a team with people who dont care about other crap they just wanna win and play good players. I hope he can see the field a lot this fall.

Danny Woodhead has his career take off after arrived from the Jets. Patriots look for someone with a specific talent that is used to success in their back ground and just want a chance to prove it. Rex will get a couple years to do what he does and then like Woodhead sign a nice contract somewhere else. Both are blue collar guys that just do what is expected with a little chip on their shoulder

The Patriots do a masterful job of evaluating what a player can do and how that fits within their system. Bellichick loves smart and tough players like Rex. Rex can do it all really.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Burkhead become their lead back this year. Blount is gone. Gillispee can't pass block or catch. Lewis can't stay healthy. James White seems to be playing out of default more than anything else.
