Looks like it is true. Man, we aren't going to be able to compete until we find a billionaire donor like Texas Tech or Indiana have done. This NIL **** is out of control.

I can't keep up with the rules anymore , nor do I even care to try , but I thought this kind of thing was against them?
I can't imagine that this would be legal. If it was, an AD could give a totally unjustified raise/extension/bonus to an underachieving coach, just to launder it over to incoming transfer players.

Wait.... never mind.

Supposedly 500K to Colandrea’s NIL fund. Is that true?
If it is true he should have done it long ago and contributed a helluva lot more. For goodness sakes, he makes 8 million a year. It's his team. If he wants to compete for the best players, throw in 3 million and see if you can somehow get through life in a measley 5 million a year

It think it will all be clear by November. Sometimes we dig too deep to try to find value in our coaches and players. They are in a competitive sport. People love sports because the "value" of the participantss is based on one thing..there is no nuance...no grey. You either win or lose. Rhule has been mediocre but not bad. Whether he is scamming the university or trying real hard it doesn't matter...the truth will come out regardless in wins and losses over the next two years.

Sadly, Coleandra could have an all time great season and we still win 5 games because we won't stop anybody. Coleandra could be great and get his leg broken because we have to run him 20 times a game. Qbs get too much credit for a team which has 30+ guys contributing each game.

Then he should call Joe Ganz for advice
The NIL/transfer deal is going to make keeping QBs on the depth chart interesting. I believe right now our backups are getting more money than they might at a transfer destination. I’m wondering what we ponied up to lure Kaelin back. He’s worth a lot even if he doesn’t take a snap in a game this fall. LOVE having him on the 3 deep. Very comfortable with the idea that he could play.
