Rice vs St. Francis

Maybe it's because Mike Fitzgerald of St. Francis said last year that Rice would be gunning for them, because of him. I am sure that last year, Coach Badke said, "let's gun for St. Francis, and Mike Fitzgerald." Because, as we all know, Fitzgerald grew up in Colorado or something and happened to go to LFC. He and Beth Long have my mind baffled, because neither one is from here, yet they seem to know everything.
46-33 Nice comeback by Francis. Rice DBs appear to be the Achilles for them. Anyway a good W bounce back

I have tried searching up and down for the article, but can't find it anywhere. I believe it was a preview of the game last year and it was in the Herald, or something else in the Wheaton area. I was paraphrasing, and I will do so again, but the gist of it was that he spent time at Marist and they (BR) knew him and would be gunning for them (SF) because he (MF) had coached in the neighborhood. Given Rice's schedule last year both in and out of the Blue (visits to MI and IN), it really struck me as odd. But, as I said, I have not been able to find it again. Maybe you can dig it up? It's not something I am making up and at worst, maybe I read into it a little too much. But I don't think so.
Fitzgerald is a great coach and he is doing great things out there, which is why I found it so odd and a little pompous. Maybe they even quoted him wrong.
