Yeah if you get Saunders you don’t get Almanor probably
Saunders is good, would have welcomed him here. But he just felt more at home in Utah. He just got married to a girl from there as well, and didn’t want to pick up and move cross country. It turned out alright for us.
At the time of his visit I thought he would be a great addition, but as Wonky pointed out, there were other factors in play. A nice player who would have been a tremendous addition. But looking at our current roster, I am glad he stayed home.
He made a decision that was best for him.

The 6'9" guard from Russia, showed he had some talent, but didn't shoot very well in this game
