Barnes has taken his name out of consideration for National Coach of the Year honors. Seriously, there's no reason that UT should not have a Top Ten basketball team each year. Really nice facilities, lots of talent in the state and they play in on of the top conferences in the nation. From watching his teams play I always felt that Barnes holds them back offensively.

He's got a ton of talent at UT but has never really put it together. I thought this year with the addition of Turner that UT would be a definite FF contender. Seems as if they've gotten much worse over the course of the season.

I loved it when Barnes got in Dean Smith's face at UNC when Rick was at Clemson. Rick would have gotten more in Dean's face,but Dean's nose was in the way.
