Rick Sandidge's career is over

Thought he was a big pickup when we got him. Hate it that he didn’t get to finish his career playing. Also thought it was huge for him to say he’d finish his career helping recruit to Carolina.
Too bad... just never could stay healthy enough to live up to his potential.
This outcome is disappointing for Rick and us fans. Just like Shameik Blackshear, we had high hopes for them two but they never lived up to their blue chip billing. Hope Rick is happy and successful in his future endeavors.
Does it seem like we have a high number of highly touted guys that never pan out? Like extraordinary high amount?
Personally I don’t think we have a high amount of highly touted players that’s why it’s more noticable when one doesn’t pan out! I was always waiting for him to shine, hate it for the kid!
I guess so, I look at blackshear, and a while host of others dating back to my youth that for whatever reason never panned out. Look at all the qbs that were highly touted that never panned out. Just heart wrenching from a fans perspective
IMO, a major reason why we won the CWS in 2010 & 2011 is because the team stayed healthy overall throughout each season.
WBB had sufficient talent on the bench this past season that losing Raven Johnson early in the season was not devastating. Hope she rebounds well this upcoming season.
It does feel like we lose top football talent to injuries more than most teams.
