A friend of your AD also agrees with Ricky. :p

LINK

You could start apologizing for BOTH of them...

The article that you linked was authored by Drew Franklin. Given the picture you posted, presumably this second person "in important places" is Matt Jones, the owner of the KSR site that the article was posted on. I'm still not impressed with your list of "people in important places." Actually, you're getting kind of funny with this, so thanks!

So your AD's friend will allow POVs posted on his site that run OPPOSITE to his?

Do you know him as well as "Vince" does?

Oh the irony.... He allows points of view on his media that are not consistent with his views! Reminds me of an AD that wouldn't allow anything of the sort.

Are you changing the subject--again?...
You were the one who brought up people allowing opposite POV's.

OK, I'm game.... Let's get back to your list of new "people in important places" who all of a sudden think that Pitino and Jurich should not have been canned. Your list so far is funny and enlightening.

You questioned the inter-workings of a slappy website. That's almost the definition of "off topic"...
Nice job misunderstanding, misinterpreting, or simply intentionally twisting words… I didn't question that. Go back and re-read. Actually, you were the one who interjected the KSR site. Interesting.

Again, let's get back to your list of new "people in important places" narrative.
I'm enjoying your examples.

If a Bridgman doesn’t QUIT to make ANOTHER multimillion dollars maybe none of this happens?

Money is at the root of the problem as usual.

If Ramsey is an”bad guy” for making a ton of money for UL and himself, why is Jr not a “bad guy” for bailing on UL, but making a ton of money for himself?

This began when Jr walked out.

You can't follow your own subject... You ask for examples, you get one, and then you stray off topic trying to defeat it with no element of logic or reasoning.

That stumbling around is nobody's fault but yours...

Bridgeman's a good guy, but his last move did his alma mater no favors...

I'm interested in your examples of "people in important places with the opportunity to speak publicly" who agree with you. So far you've come up with the Jones boys, Ricky and Matt, a list I think is pretty funny. You suggested you had more examples, so I would love to hear about 'em. If you don't have any more, than you should just admit that your statement was just hyperbole.

Maddie Bangs and his crowd are ANTI the former regime. Yet, even they recognize what this has evolved into.

I gave you more than one which defines "people" as in the plural of one person. You're not even entitled to what I've already handed you, for damn sure nothing more. I'm not here to convince regime apologists who can't be convinced...

Matt Jones is anti-Louisville and will simply always say anything to further an anti-Louisville "narrative". You said earlier that the KSR story was opposite his particular opinion concerning the firings. Anyway, whatever he says doesn't really mean all that much, it's always anti-Louisville.

We simply have a difference of opinion here, and we should be able to simply state those opinions without getting carried away. That would be good enough from my perspective.

By the way, as I think you know, there was another article making the rounds this week with the opinion that canning Pitino and Jurich was good for UofL, so it looks like there's plenty of that opposite opinion.

I agree that he’s been a good guy.

Everybody is a good guy until they punch, rob, or shoot somebody.

Jr probably had no clue what would happen when he quit.

But it did. And it’s changed my view. He got richer while we got reamed.

When “most” people do that it is not looked on favorably.

I’d love to see Jr make a statement/apology about his stepping down.

But I doubt he will. It may screw up future deals for him. Grissom has a long reach.

More money. Which is what started this.

Even if I agreed with it, that was a different context. That was how the NCAA would handle U of L's situation, NOT whether firing those guys was "hypocritical", to use Ricky Jones' term.

Most acknowledge that U of L acted way too hastily in dealing with the FBI news. And I believe that was intentional and had little to do with the FBI...
