Looks like the Cats got a good one. 6foot4 wideout. Plays defense also supposed to run a sub 4.4 in the forty!!
Is he a PW? Said to be a super athlete that can jump.

This is a Sea of Blue report. Typically, Sea of Blue is sensationalistic, to put it kindly. Crowder's Max Prep page says he is 6'4" 180#. There is no 247 sports, Rivals, or On3 page for the player. Crowder is not a ranked prospect in the state of KY and does not have an offer sheet as of now. There is no documentation of the 40 time, such as when, where, and by what means of measurement it was recorded. This means 4.4 is questionable. Jakob Dixon is 6'4" and reportedly ran 4.4, but didn't last one week in our football program. At 6'4" (if that is actually accurate) and 180#, he would be a developmental project needing to bulk up. While not impossible, quality of competition at Glasgow hs is not at a level that typically produces Power 5 football prospects. There has not been a Glasgow hs player listed in KY state prospect rankings in a long time. I don't remember the last one. We will see what comes of Crowder's story, but this sounds more like a PWO story. Good luck to the young man.

Tanner Bowles went to Bama and is now on our team. Just saw this about Rico. He isn’t showing up on our recruit list. If he runs a sub 4.4 dude can fly. Not much out there on him. Hope we are getting a steal.

Even if so, the 4.4 is questionable if nobody knows how and when it was recorded. If it isn't electronically timed without a tail wind, it doesn't count. Few college players truly run 4.4. And again, it was also said that Jakob Dixon runs 4.4. He lasted less than a week.

Bowles is an example of a so-called "4 star" who has not played like a 4 star at the college level. Not knocking Bowles. I'm glad he came home, and I expect him to contribute. But, on a needy OL, he is not a projected starter. A player from Glasgow plays a level of hs competition that lends itself to overrating. Again, I am not knocking Glasgow or Glasgow players. Good town, good people. It is a simple matter of mathematics and demographics. If Crowder wants to play in UK's football program, I say good for him. But this sounds like a PWO story. No offer sheet means something.

Agreed, take this commit with several grains of salt.

I read that he ran a 4.42 in the 40 at a UK camp earlier this year. I wish him the best. GO CATS!!

Finally saw a little film on Crowder. He looks like a decent enough athlete, plays in a run-heavy offense. Moves pretty well but don't know about 4.4, was caught from behind twice on long runs. Hands are pretty good, needs a lot of work but could make a "possession" receiver. Hope it works for him and UK.
