I have a ring alarm but use Blink cameras. I pay an annual fee around $100 for the storage of my recorded clips.

I have 2 rings cameras. Backyard camera has no fee bc I just use it to check live to convince myself the house is still standing when I’m gone. The camera out front is the ring spotlight camera. I pay like $3.99 a month to get videos saved and notifications. It also turns a light on if it catches motion. Both use a solar panel.

I wouldn’t say it the best but it does the job. Video quality is decent enough. Solar panels lose more battery on less sunny days but when you’re paying for something that cheap it’s to be expected.
