He was a great third baseman and an even better person. Met him a few times and he always acted like he knew you forever. He was very respected in the Baltimore community and throughout baseball. RIP Brooks

That’s a shame, I played ball with his son. I met him a few times when he showed up for picture day, nice guy.

The best fielding third baseman that I saw play in person. His play in the 1970 World Series versus Cincinatti was outstanding from a fielding perspective. Very underrated hitter.

He was the center point of some pretty spectacular Orioles Teams. I grew up in Reading. I remember my dad taking my brother and I to see them in Memorial Stadium whenever they Yankees came to town. My dad loved the Yankees but wouldn’t take us to the Bronx.
RIP Mr Robison, a good life lived.

The greatest fielding 3rd basemen I have ever seen. I first saw Brooks Robinson play in 1970. He was truly a human vacuum cleaner.
