THere was a good story on The Athletic about that Cal/Chaney fight this past year. It really was a great read about Chaney & how they patched things up quickly and stayed friends. Chaney really had some great perspective in his later years.

He's the last of a generation. He was hard nosed and loyal. Won all those games, but no title. Could've gotten a bigger job or program, but he stayed with his school and never wavered. RIP Coach Chaney!
