Oh man I liked him. His most recent role was Costner's father on Yellowstone. 9 to 5 is a fun movie.
This one sucks. Underrated movie was “Short Time”. Also War Games.
War Games was awesome.
I actually got to see Coleman in action as a friend had a family member who was on set of a CBS Show he was on, "The Guardian". This was early '00's but I remembered him from War Games when I was a kid.
I always knew Dolly Parton had it out for him.
9 to 5. War Games. On Golden Pond. Cloak and Dagger. Good actor Coleman was. He was hilarious in 9 to 5.
Tremendous loss. Dude was so far ahead of his time, it ain't funny. I'm unsure if this country ever recovers from losing a certified hero.

It’s been a while since I thought of the old TV series Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. What a bizarre show. Way easier to enjoy if you were baked.

I recently watched On Golden Pond and found it very touching; esp. as Henry Fonda died the next year. Coleman had a small role as Jane Fonda's boyfriend.
The guy appeared in over 60 TV series during the 60s and 70s. That's impressive.
I'm not much for sappy family movies, but On Golden Pond struck a chord with me when I was young for reasons I'm really not sure. I love the movie. Haven't seen it in years.
Coleman embraced the “foil” or bad guy role. He was great, kind of like Paul Gleason did in his roles (Breakfast Club, Trading Places..)
