What is it with all of these NHL Hall of Famers suddenly dying en masse?

Lafluer was one of our generations most electrifying talents if not the most. He was the best player on arguably the best team in the history of the NHL. He was magic and unstoppable in the late seventies and early eighties. Flying down that right wing helmetless. Defenseman were helpless. Goalies were frozen. His slap shot was a rifle shot.
