RIP.......I saw him play at Father Flynn Field at St.Francis HS in Morgantown when he played with the Indianapolis Clowns. I was a very young tyke.
Also saw him play in later years when the Braves played the Pirates.

The funniest line I saw today, somewhere else, was "Biden killed Hank Aaron."

I was watching when Aaron broke that record too, on Monday Night Baseball, back when baseball was only on TV a day or two a week. Al Downing was the pitcher. Tom House was the guy in the Braves bullpen that caught the home run ball.

That was 715. But who served up 714? Jack Billingham of the Reds a couple days earlier.

I wonder whatever happened to those two guys that were running around the bases with Aaron and patting him on the back.
