Damn good actor. Would actually rather watch Baker than John Wayne, even though Wayne was in more iconic films.

Check out The Outfit (1973), Charley Varrick (1973), and Framed (1975). I have no idea why Baker was in Joysticks (1983) though.

How did they miss Cool Hand Luke? I am tired so maybe it was me. I thought Lou Antonio was only survivor. Along with Joy Harmon.

"Well, that ought to be easy for a genuine son of a b1tc$."

I cannot get anybody under 50 to watch it. How are we supposed to continue as a nation without a generation that understands Cool Hand Luke? I guess they can watch a marvel movie.
One of the greatest movies of all-time and my favorite. There is definitely a 'failure to communicate' and get through to them. They don't know what they are missing.

i'm not sure who did or did not get the Fletch reference I made but that is far and away his greatest work.

My grandpa met the real Buford Pusser. He caught a serial killer, or close enough to it, that he got invited to a sheriff deal at a national convention back in the 50's. All he ever said was he seemed like a good man. LoL. Can't separate the actor from the role on that one. The Rock couldn't really pull it off due to time.

The Rock playing Buford is like the Rock playing Einstein. Hollywood sucks.

Walking Tall is a classic. I went to college in the town it was filmed in, Henderson, TN. Pusser was sheriff of McNairy County on the Mississippi line. They wouldn't allow the movie to be filmed there. So the movie was moved to Henderson in Chester Co just north of McNairy Co.
