Got a John Y. Brown Jr story. When I was in Dental School in Louisville from '76 thru '80 I worked part time at Brendamours Sporting Goods in Oxmoor Mall. One evening like 2 days before Christmas one year the Manager told us we needed to stay after work for about 30 minutes. After we closed the Manager opened the back door and John Y. Jr. walks in and we follow him around the as I pointed out things he wanted to purchase for Christmas. Thinking back it reminded of the scene from Caddy Shack where Rodney Dangerfield was buying things in Pro Shop...
Especially if he had merged the Colonels with the Buff Braves.What could have been....
Imagine adding Bob McAdoo, Randy Smith and pre-injury Ernie D to the Colonels?

Recall he & Phyllis walking across the Keeneland track to present trophy to Bluegrass winner in the infield - no turf course then. Thing is, she was pregnant and carried her shoes as she walked barefoot across the wet track. A thought came to my mind.
