My mom bought the vinyl LP of that album when it was released. Lots of good songs that as a young kid you don't appreciate until you're older and understand what he was saying in the lyrics.
"Sunday Morning coming Down"..........a great song that captured the feeling of a Sunday so perfectly.

Yes, there was the music, and the acting, but there was also the Rhodes Scholar, the Army Ranger, the helicopter pilot, the man who was offered a teaching position in English at West Point, the Gold Gloves Boxer.....

First time I heard that song (sung by Johnny Cash) was a bit of an awakening for me. I realized there was a little too much of me in there.
Kris spend time in the US Army. He went through Airborne and Ranger School and then went through Flight School and learned to fly helicopters. He left the Army at the end of his time because the Army did not send him to Viet Nam. Anyway a good guy and we will miss him.

Most here are forgetting about his acting career. My roommates and my favorite “cult” movie from when we were in college was Semi-tough that made fun of a lot of the trendy BS fads of the day. Such as Friedrich’s “Beat” sessions and pyramid power.
