Celebrities dying very rarely affects me. I don't know them, I just enjoy their work. This one actually does hurt. So damn naturally gifted. Can't even make a Paddock joke here.

No hyperbole, but he was probably truly the funniest man alive. If you've never listened to his stand up, you have to give it a try. He was also the king of anti-jokes. RIP. I hope the Jaguars covered before you left us.

My favorite comedian who a lot of people just didn't get. Great on SNL, but was fired for constantly making OJ jokes when the head of NBC at the time was friends with OJ. Had his sitcom "Norm" which I watched but didn't last long, and had a sports show on Comedy Central that was so random you just knew it wouldn't last. But when you've got the respect of every living comedian as well as Conan, Letterman, and Stern, you must be doing something right.
There aren't many comedians who can get away with a joke like that, but he was definitely one of them.

Almost as sad is the fact that a guy like Norm trying to start a career in comedy today wouldn’t make it. Wouldn’t even get the chance to get started really. They would get canceled & crucified with a quickness.
