Wow. 65 years old - way too close to where I'm at and I feel great. Remember him very well, very disruptive. For those of us who played Strato-Matic baseball, his card during his heyday was ridiculous - half of it was seemingly walks and he ALWAYS got his jump. On the very, very short list of best leadoff hitters ever. Hit for average, walked an insane amount of times (his strike zone was about 12" with his crouch) and, once on base, you might was well go ahead and put him on second because he was gonna get there soon, anyway.
