Garth Hudson (86) is the only band member still living. Sad. RIP.

The Band was great. A lot of diverse talents that blended into a unique musical style. Forgotten by a lot of people but their songs are timeless.
This cover just started playing after the song above. Never saw them in concert but always wanted to.
All of those Playing for Change videos are really great and well done. I need to Google to get some insight as to how they put them together, cannot imagine everyone in the world playing the same song at the same time, but sure looks like it on the video.
Levon Helm and Robbie Robertson may be the most interesting pairing in rock history.
