Roberta Flack, ’70s R&B Vocalist Known for ‘Killing Me Softly,’ Dies at 88
Roberta Flack, best known for her '70s hits 'Killing Me Softly' (later covered by the Fugees) and 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,' has died.
I saw an awards show years ago were the Fugees were doing their version of Killing Me Softly, which I hate because it’s almost an exact replica (adding “one time” and “two times”). Then Flack came out to sing it with them and blew Hill’s vocals away. Great voice.
