Will its a very deserving thread, obviously. When I was growing up it was Mickey Mantle or Willie Mays. *The Mick* was my favorite because I saw the Yankees on tv a lot, and they became my favorite team. Unfortunately this was mid-late 60s, and injuries were really taking their toll on Mickey.

However it was impossible not to like Willie Mays. Humble and quick with a smile off the field,yet such an amazing player. Will, all of us in the OFC era lost a little piece of hearts and childhood this week with Mays passing. Sincerest thanks for the thread my friend. R.I.P. Willie.
